Girls picked right up on feeding and no more feed on the ground.

We made a box to hold 12 feeders and love it. We were forced to turn the rain cover into crumb catchers. We did not read the instructions until we drilled all 12 holes. All the chicks and chickens eventually got their own feeder. It is literally our life saver along with the self waterers we bought from Rent A Coop.

This is a great chicken feeder. The kit makes it affordable and easy to install. I've tried on rectangle buckets and round ones. I like it on the rectangle ones more. I'll be buying more later.

I love these feeding ports! They have been a lifesaver for my poultry operation. This was my second set, and I bought half a dozen! I have zero waste, it allows me to keep my feeders outside, not attracting vermin and taking up precious room in the coop. They install so easily, it is my best chicken purchase yet! My chickens, ducks and turkeys all have zero issues using this system. To initially train my first flock I filled the tubes like suggested, and like they said, they were trained by the bottom! The only little issue I see is with the wing nuts. My bucket was plenty thick and I didn't need them, but there isn't enough room to tighten them down if they are neccesary, the wing is too long. Easily solved with a pair of wire cutters, and definately not a reason to knock the product!

This was only difficult to assemble because I chose to utilize a 4 lb plastic container from brewer's yeast supplement, the smallest container one could utilize with this feed port I'm certain. It was a very tight squeeze to get most the screws in, but, and I'm admittedly biased, it looks sharp. With just seven young chickens, this feeder lasts a few days before it needs refilling and is easily moved due to its small size. My chickens took right to it, but that could be due in part to having been raised on the Rent-A-Coop chick feeder.
Great to upcycle old food containers or to customize to meet your particular needs.

it will be much convenient after having the auto food feeder and water feeder.
I reviewed lots of product before I bought them. Not only they works, but also they can last for years with easy or less maintenance.
Now I do not need to refill the food/water for at least a week. of course, I check to make sure everything is fine and fetch the eggs.
Make sure the home depot 5 gallon bucket is food grade.

I love RentACoop products so much! All the products I ordered from this company work perfectly and are brilliant designed. Our family has confidences raising our backyard chicken with their products, our chickens love these too! I purchased chick brooder board, chick automatic feeder, waterer nipple & cups, and adult chicken feeder port(DIY kit). Some items I ordered twice, and planing to order more in the future. You can totally enjoy raising chickens without the hassle like refill feed and water every single day, also you can make sure your fragile baby chicks are cozy and warm with their brooder board. Very happy and highly recommend for these "Make-Sence" products!

Easy to order and install using a saber saw with fine tooth blade to cutout the holes. were noticing a lot less food on the ground.

Incredibly easy to install! We use them on a 35g plastic trash can. We had a set of these for over a year, and only needed to replace them due to a bad dog chewing them up!

I love it.

These feeder ports have been amazing! I put them on a 10 gallon bucket I found at Menards and it will hold 40 pounds of crumble. Haven’t elevated it yet because chicks are all around 10 weeks and this little one has a bad leg. They were SUPER easy to install, put together, and train the flock on.
